Morningside After Dark returns for a seventh season of warming up your winter with the Jan. 28 show "Changing Lanes." Dissonance board member Katy Vernon is one of the hosts for this series, and we have resources available at each event. Enjoy a mix of music and storytelling, featuring 12 under-5-minute performances by the likes of Star Tribune music critic Chris Riemenschneider; Moth StorySlam storyteller Sue Searing; New York Times critically acclaimed poet Michael S Bazzett; award-winning writers Rosanna Staffa and Amy Widmoyer Hanson; author Will McGrath with accompanying music by recording artist Cade Bittner; singer-songwriter Niki Beverly; Minnesota Orchestra's Tim Zavadil; hip-hop artist Jayso Creative; singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist Doug Collins; and singer-songwriter Vicky Emerson-Wallace.

It’s a FREE event and coffee bar, with donations always appreciated to help cover costs. Doors open at 7 p.m. for best seating.
